Open qualifying athletics competition on the site of the European Championships

Two days before the first competition day of the European Athletics U23 Championships, the Organising Committee provides opportunity both for the competitors and for the referees and for others participating in the organisation to test their preparedness on the site of the continent competition.

The open qualifying athletics competition will begin at 15.30 hours on 10th July, 2007 in Gyulai István Athletics Stadium where every athlete over 15 years old, who has got valid competition permission and doctor’s certificate, can take part in.

Everyone is welcomed in the competition!
1. Aim of the competition: to provide opportunity for competitors in the spirit of the year training. And it will be a test competition for the referees.

3. Date and place of the competition: 15.30 hrs 10 July (Tuesday), 2007; Gyulai István Athletics Stadium - Debrecen
4. Participants of the competition: Those competitors who are entered for it by their association or by their managers and who have got valid competition permission and doctor’s certificate, from 15 years old till veterans. 
5. Deciding of the places: according to the „Competition Rules” of athletics.
6. Reward: I-III places receive medal rewards.
7. Costs: Organisation costs of the competitions are paid by the County Athletics Association, the participants have to pay the participation fee.
8. Nomination: 60 minutes before the start of the events, on the site nominations will be closed.
9. Entry fee: no entry fee
10. Other regulations:

• Changing clothes is possible in the appointed changing rooms of the sports hall.
• Competitors can wear 9 mm track-shoes.
• Warming up will be in Nagyerdei Stadium, passing through the Amusement Park.
• Own instrument: using of own instrument is permitted after verification. Instruments have to be given down for verification one hour before the start of the event and they will be transferred to the site of the competition by the competition jury. After finishing the event, they can be got back only on the site of the instrument verification.
• Registration: Call-room: in case of running events 15 minutes before, in case of skill events 35 minutes before, in case of pole-vault 45 minutes before the start of the event in the call-room raised behind the 100 m start line (presence is compulsory).
