NUSI-UPI Aquathlon National Final

The Aquathlon National Final will be arranged in Debrecen on 30 March, 2008 in a common organization of the National Rising Generation and Sport Servicing Institution (NUSI-UPI), the Hungarian Triathlon Association and Debrecen Sport Centre – Sport School.

The competition will be organized on two sites; Debrecen Sport Swimming Pool is giving home for the swimming events while Gyulai István Athletics Stadium for running events. The contestants can measure their strength in four age-groups (beginner A, beginner B, adolescent, children); different distances have to be performed in the different age-group categories. Not only the rising generation, but the older competitors of the sport will also be present since the competition will serve as a strength measuring possibility for junior, U23 and adult contestants.

The interest in the event, which will be arranged for the third time this year, can be proved by the size of the field coming from all over the country: 636 people (340 boys, 296 girls) entered and they will be accompanied by 173 people.
