The Championship begins!

The big day has come. On Sunday, the World U20 Division II Championship starts in Phoenix Sports Hall. All the teams have arrived to Debrecen, they have occupied their hotel rooms and done some trainings as well.

The preparations have been running smoothly and from Sunday the games will be the main focus for us as the hockey fever is rising in the city: the national as well as the local printed and on-line media are concerned with the event. You can run into more and more sports fans who are eager to see the start of the championships.

The quality of ice in Phoenix Hall is beyond reproach and the training venue in Tócóskert is full all around the clock so everything is ready for a start.

he opening game starts at 13:00 with the Great-Britain vs. China match then the South-Korean national team will meat Team Mexico at 16:30. After the opening ceremony (start time: 19:00) at 20:00 the host team encounters Team Spain. 
So the puck will drop tonight in Phoenix Hall.
