Rhythmic Gymnastics World Cup in Debrecen – only 50 days left!
Another world event is on program for the sport fans in Debrecen: on 5-7th March the city organizes the II. Rhythmic Gymnastics World Cup and the Garantiqa Cup, an International Junior Individual Competition sponsored by FIG. The venue of this international event is going to be Phoenix Hall, which means that the City of Debrecen will be vociferous from a 3-day sport event.
It will be a big event since almost 300 competitors of 25 countries will compete on the floor of the Phoenix hall. The hosts - to promote healthy lifestyle –organize Garantiqa Cup, an International Junior Individual Competition and provide a 3-day family program with pop stars to make the show even more exciting. The Mutual aim of the sponsors - Garantiqa Creditguarantee Co. Ltd., City of Debrecen, the Hungarian Rhythmic Gymnastics Federation and Debrecen Sportcentre – is to provide programs for all age groups on this special occasion.
The opening day of the World Cup will start on 5th March with the award ceremony and the show of a national school competition entitled “With sport, future is ours”. Hungary’s biggest gymnastics session with Alexandra Béres will also take place where participants from 9 month to 99 years are welcome. One of the host celebrities of the gala will be - the popular face of the World Cup- Ildikó Keresztes.
Other stars of the II. Rhythmic Gymnastics World Cup will be the finalists and performers of Hungary’s Got Talent 2009; Bad Boys, Szabolcs Csikó, Tamás Horváth, and Kutyakölykök (Puppy Dogs).
The organizers welcome all who are interested, those who enjoyed last years World Cup and also those whose interest is just piqued. |
