The two local handball teams of Debrecen play their champion matches in the building named after Imre Hódos, the olympic champion wrestler of the city.

In the past few years many important inside and outside reconstructional works were executed in the building adjacent to the Főnix Hall. Moreover within the scope of the most up-to-date developments a new sauna meeting every requirement has been built in the Hódos.

There is another important specific of the hall, which is the underground tunnel between the Hódos and the Főnix Hall.
