Sportcomplex of Oláh Gábor Street lies in a 19-hectare area in the heart of ’Nagyerdő’.
Management and offices of the Sport Centre and sport sections work in the Grand-stand building.
An ice-rink, 14 different outdoor courts, sportshall, gyms and a sauna can still be found in the Sportcomplex.
The largest extreme park of the Eastern Hungarian Region was opened in 2002. |

The
special (recortan) 8-lane running field and tribune building
were built for the 2001 Youth Athletic Championships is a
unique establisment not only in Hungary but also in the Carpath
region. The standard of the track is showed by the excellent
qualification from the International Association of Athletics
Federations (IAAF), and the official IAAF International Training
Centre title.

other popular intersection is the football stadium which has
been the permanent home of the DVSC football players for the

pitch and a few more, smaller blacktop covered pitches.

In the area of Sport Centre in Oláh Gábor Street in Debrecen FIFA qualified artificial grass football ground welcomes football lovers.
On the 105x68 m big ground equipped with electric lighting as well, four standard size grounds have been painted, which are suitable for arranging league five-man football matches. |

skating rink is open from November to April at the Oláh Gábor
Sportcomplex. The rink is surrounded by forest and easily
accessible.

This
park is the first and the only one in Debrecen. It offers
a perfect opportunity to discover and try out these popular
extreme sports.

The
Sportcentre has an outdoor streetball pitch and three asphalt
pitches which are good for playing football and handball.

A six-lane bowling alley works in the sportshall, which is open for the public as well.
On any day of the week anyone can play bowling in the morning hours after reserving the alley.
In the afternoon hours professionals have trainings and competitions to which everyone is welcome. |

Three hard-cinder tennis courts can be found in calm and pleasant environment in the area of the sportcomplex. Every sportsfan who would like to try this sport is welcome. Hiring of sports equipment is still not possible, so racket is needed to bring for playing.
