The Local Government of Hajdú-Bihar County supports Debrecen Regional Organization of the National Sports Health Institution with sports medical instruments of 1,5 million value in 2005.

Introducing the consulting room

National Sports Health Institution (NSHI) initiated its Regional Sports Medical Centre in July of 2003 in the area of the Sport Centre in Oláh Gábor Street, next to the athletic track. By reasons of the most up-to-date instruments it is suitable for examining of competition athletes. Specialists of the Regional Centre with the NSHI base in the background, guarantee services of high standard for the athletes.

Examines of the sports physician’s consulting hours:

• general medical examinations
• examination of the organs of locomotion
• endurance diagnostics examination (bicycle ergometry)
• electrocardiogram tests
• laboratory tests (urine general)
• respiratory tests
• body fat measuring
• dinamometrical test
• medical attendance of sport injuries
• physiotherap
• consultancy for competition sport activity
